Basic Programme Outline
Each episode will begin with an introduction to this episode’s main destination or theme, as well as the family, and giving a general overview of where they are and what they will be doing.
The families will be different each time, to encompass the different requirements and aspirations of children of varying ages. We’ll then explore the destination with them in detail, checking out some of the most exciting activities and attractions. The aim will be to find a balance that keeps both the youngsters and the parents involved, entertained, and happy.
Naturally the exact format of each episode will depend to some extent on the destination, but the prime objective will be to bring a full flavour of that destination to the viewer, using the family as the eyes through which we see it. We will hear from all members of the family, adults and children alike, to get a true feeling of the trip from all angles.
The show will also take the opportunity to keep viewers up to date with the latest tips and information for family travellers, providing further inspiration and advice for those planning a trip.
The episode will end with the destination being summed up and rated as a family destination, with any particular pro’s and con’s listed, and a last word from one of the children.
