About Trevor Claringbold

With a travel and media career stretching back over 40 years, Trevor made his name as a presenter with the BBC, before moving on to producing and directing his own travel productions as Globetrotter Television's Creative Director. He has visited over 80 countries, been published in national newspapers, and been invited to speak at the United Nations World Tourism Organisation conference. Trevor's role means he spends much of his time planning the filming trips around the world for Globetrotter Television, and he is always looking for new destinations, or original ways to tackle well-known places. He still finds time to write the occasional article, or present the odd programme or two when the chance arises... just to keep his hand in.
